Yeah. I think the Mets just don't have enough consistent offense to win 4/7 vs the Dodgers. The Dodgers have won 2 of 3, and their better pitchers are starting the next two games. Plus the Dodgers bats are so deep.

The Yankees and Dodgers are certainly super teams in terms of payroll and media attention.

In terms of quality, they won 94 and 98 games respectively. The last time you had two 100 win teams was 2017 so yeah it doesn't happen that often.

They should play at the Yankees spring training facility in Tampa. It holds 11,000+ which sadly isn't far off their average attendance most seasons. It would probably create demand heading into their new ballpark and they could build out a waiting list, etc.
