I doubt that’s your real source. You likely rely or at least influenced by repeated polling telling you it’s close. Thats what polling is designed to do in very close races
It's crazy how close things are now after the slight uptick the Harris camp saw after the presidential debate. The NBC story below highlights their NBC national general election poll of registered voters, which reveals that Harris' 49-44 lead just a month ago has been wiped out with both candidates now tied at 48% each. At 1:27 of the summary clip below, the same poll also revealed a large discrepancy among Americans when asked if a candidate's policies helped or hurt them, with Trump's policies being seen as helping them at 44%-31% while people answered that Harris and Biden's policies hurt them at a 45%-25% rate.
Former President's own Secretary of Defense straight up says he thinks Trump would try to use the military against citizens, as per Trump's own words. A reminder he actually DID ask to shoot protesters.
Totally normal things.

Nah. It's just America and a 2 party system. By default it's always a 'close' race. Trump has never got more than 46% percent of popular vote, and won't this time either, but if you don't get enough democratic voters out in key states he can still win the EC.

The problem with Harris catering to conservatives is that, once again, no one is really catering to the progressive side of the voter base, which like the conservative side is also about 50% of the voters.
This is how you lose people's interest in voting, this is how you lose enthusiasm among your base, this is how you lose the left side of your own party. This is how you lose elections despite being much closer to the median voter.
It's a turnout election, you got to serve your base.
And in news that won't surprise anyone, it would appear that the Democrats are doubling down on catering to conservatives, as campaign officials have reached out to Joe Rogan, requesting an invite to appear on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
Democratic presidential nominee#Kamala Harris#could sit down for an interview with popular podcaster Joe Rogan, whose audience leans heavily towards young men, as she works to shore up support with male voters, sources said on Monday.
Harris campaign officials, in the final stretch of the U.S.#presidential campaign, met with Rogan's team this week but an appearance has not been confirmed yet, said two of the sources, who have knowledge of the matter.
Going on a right leaning podcast isn't catering though, it's putting her platform out there for them to see, straight from her. I don't think it's a bad idea. Catering would be going on his podcast and agreeing with Joe that Ice Plunges can save America, and creating policies for that.

Trump: I just haven't gotten over something the Justice Department did yesterday where Virginia cleaned up its voter rolls and got rid of thousands and thousands of bad votes… I haven't gotten over that…
Q: The question is about Google
Trump: They’re very bad to me
This was at the Economic Club of Chicago forum today. I guess at least he didnt spend 30 minutes dancing ...as far as I know

The problem with going on Rogan or Fox is that the max benefit gained is a lot smaller than potential losses. If she nails either appearance she stands to make small in roads with undecided or center right voters. If she flubs it even a little bit the repercussions could be much more severe.

Well then she gets points for bravery, too. Not doing anything for fear of mistakes is just another way to fail.
Rogan is a dumbass and his followers certainly lean right but he is more balanced than something like Fox news. He actually pushes back on some of the nonsense and also has guests with differing opinions from time to time.

I think Trump has hit his ceiling and the MAGA votes are pretty much locked in. Trump could murder a child live on stage at one of his Nazi rallies and his base will still vote for him no matter what. I highly doubt he's winning over any new voters at this point.
If Harris can get women and young people to get off their asses and vote in the swing states, she wins IMO. Going on the Rogan show might actually help her win over young men who are undecided or leaning Trump.

When was the last time that juice monkey had a guest with a differing view?
The last time he had anyone with a different view was that Dr during Covid from Minnesota I believe. He was discussing vaccines, and this was early on.
After that he went on his anti vaxx campaign, and talking about horse paste to cure covid.
It's absolutely hilarious these people with their anti-vaccine takes and turn around and jab themselves with Tren while snorting the good stuff.

I gave up on his pod years ago but a quick google search shows he had Dr Rhonda Patrick on at the end of June this year.
She has alway butted heads with his anti vax followers and been a good voice for medical science on his show.
Unless she has changed her own views and joined them, which I very much doubt but you never know these days.
He has all kinds of people on,!including respected scientists. The problem is that he gives the kooks airtime without pushing back against their bull####.

He has had some real good views from the other side so far this summer.
Matt Walsh, Peter Theil, Dennis Quaid, Jordan Peterson.

I agree.
He pushes back way harder on the scientists and is very soft on the kooks.

The race seems to be getting close to no longer being close. Current RCP betting odds have it 56-43 Trump.
