The Raiders are dumb, they had teams call about Adams earlier last year and this offseason and instead kept him. So, Aiden O'Connell and Gardner Minshaw could throw passes to him.

They are going to let him go because nobody is paying Adams his contract next year....this is what people don't seem to get. He is technically signed for two more years but the money is so ridiculously he is basically a FA heading into the offseason.

Well that is the same as him signing as a FA for next year its technically a new deal..the poster asked about him demanding a trade from the Jets which won't be necessary because he will either re-sign there or go wherever he wants
Pick also becomes a 2nd if Adams makes all pro or they go to an AFC championship (seems unlikely)
CBS gives the trade an A- for the Raiders, I think some of you are unrealistic about the value of Adams especially with his contract for next year giving him all the power in where he plays

They could have gotten more for him in the offseason. For some dumb reason they are stubborn.
Raiders continue to be in shambles.
The NHL going to Vegas and its a slam dunk. The NFL goes to Vegas and it's a clown show.

I doubt they would have gotten more trading him in the offseason, especially since he probably would have refused to go anywhere but the Jets or Saints. The Raiders should have never traded for him in the first place, that fluky run to the playoffs in 2021 really set them back. If they just missed the playoffs they probably move on from Carr then and never trade for Adams and they are in the middle of their rebuild instead of just starting it now.

If they trade him in the offseason they probably still only get a 3rd round pick but I would have preferred that simply to avoid the distraction and the fact that they are now a starting WR short on the roster. I don't have a sexy bowl cut and a nickname of The Turnip so what do I know?

Adams was only going to 1 team that offseason and it was the Raiders. The Packers made him an offer to be the highest paid WR but he wanted to go to the Raiders.
Rodgers forced his way to New York.
Now Green Bay is looking like the best of the 3 teams.

The restrictions on him pretty much keep him from doing anything.

Moving cities doesn't really change anything when ownership stays the same. Since they lost the Super Bowl 20+ years ago they have had two winning seasons. It was a clown show in Oakland and that continues in Vegas and the common denominator is Davis.
