Yep hard to see it through those mines but it has already emerged.

They are really going to fire another coach aren't they. Coach killers ia an understatement with McDrai.

"We might suck right now, but we refuse to lose to Calgary."

Yeah, how'd that work out for you?

"Not giving up more than 4 goals has to be considered a success at this point."

Yeah, how'd that work out for you?

"because they are a cliquey bunch of babies who can't take valid criticism"

Oh, the ironing

How did it feel watching Rasmus Andersson dangle around Hyman and McDavid last night, making them look foolish and terrible (dodging a weak AF elbow attempt in the process by Hyman) and then firing a laser past that sieve you guys call your number 1 goalie?

Skinner last night: 0.89 save %

I won't note Vladar's save percentage last night as that's kind of mean at this point to do...

Ah screw it... Vladar last night: 0.96 save %

I think this was probably my favorite from ATL

I suspect three deep playoff runs losing to three eventual cup winners has caught up to them mentally more than physically. I think they'll wake up, they just need time.
I'd shuffle the top 6 tbh. Load up the top line with McDrai and add Hyman. Let Nuge center Skinner and Arvidsson. That may jolt the guys to get going.
3 deep runs? So that included the 2nd round sweep by the Avs (which I know was the closest sweep in history, except for the Jets sweep of them the year previous).
And then the glorious strategy

Oiler fans are my favorite

To be fair, that was by far, his best performance of the season so far!

Nevermind paying tor Widemans indiscretion for 2 entire seasons. Oilers can get ####ed.

It’s mildly ironic or lacking of self awareness that a fan of the team that is supposed to be (according to all the experts) the next Stanley Cup champion cannot be graceful when being stomped by a team that (all the experts) consider to be a decent AHL team.

Mind you self awareness or grace have never been used to describe oiler fans

I'm starting to believe in this team. If Wolf can play well, three team seems a Parekh and another top 4 defenceman away from being legit good. Sharangoalvich is still coming back.

I know odds are the team will regress back towards being awful, but the last few games have been legitimately fun.

I saw his goal, but didn't watch the game. I assume that beyond the goal, that line looked solid?

Edit - also, how has Honzek looked? Is he still on that 2nd line in Sharangovich's place? Looking at his minutes, he's not getting the same ice as his linemates, so has someone else taken his place with Kadri and Kuzmenko?

just here to say I'm extremely happy for Mark Spector. I hope those games against Chicago and Calgary were everything he had hoped for.

Oh sure, the big laugh is Oil fans making like the linesman was intentionally screwing them by blowing an icing call against Calgary.
