Oilers really suck!
Huberdeau was noticeable out there for the 3rd consecutive game. I felt that Klapka out and Coronato in resulted in that line being fairly flat, but then they score. Good on Kirkland! Always nice to see these journeymen getting rewarded. Everyone was dug-in there. Noticeable lack of the Oilers digging-in - I think Connor needs to scream like a banshee some more.
Noticed repeated "Vladar sucks" in the game thread. I thought he was solid and even made some big saves.
Love how the rebuilding Flames took the win over the contending powerhouse "most votes for Stanley Cup champion" Greasers.

What annoys me is that if McDumbass had scored that Andersson goal Sportsnet would be creaming themselves all over the place.
That was a great goal.

Looks like a completely different player to start. Same with Huberdeau.
It's actually jarring.
And to a lesser extent Backlund - his effort level has been unreal. These guys clearly want to start with a cushion and see where it goes.

Kinda hard for him to score when he's doing flyby defending on Rasmus leading to the goal. Mayhaps someone should explain to him that scoring requires getting the puck out of your own net first.
