Very sad news. I remember watching him when he first appeared at Stampede Wrestling. You could tell pretty quickly he was going to be a good one. He was one of the nicest people you could hope to meet too. He always had time for the fans.
Tragic.
RIP Chris and family.

Haven't watched Wrestling for years, but Benoit was one of my favorites. Back in junior high his son went to my school and one day he dropped him off in the morning. Every kid in the school must have met him that morning and I still even have his autograph on a sheet of paper at home. Just shocking and sad. RIP Chris.

thanks. well, i guess that's good news, though I feel terrible for the kids who have to grow up without their Dad. I haven't watched wrestling since about 2000, but I might tune in tonight to see what they do for Chris. I hope they do a nice tribute.

Global news said he was found "shot" dead. Looks like a murder of some sorts.
edit: but the Edmonton Sun article says they weren't shot. hmm...

And this is why a fake death story line is rediculous...

I can't believe what I just saw when I put on the score tonight, that is really sad that his entire family passed away, just shocking. At least they have dropped the Mcmahon angle seems how Vince introduced the tribute.

Wow, this is really sad news. I don't really watch WWE, my son does, but Chris Benoit has always been one of the ones I liked to watch.
Very sad, for all their family.
RIP

The point is that having a murder in the storyline crosses the line in the first place. It is too far.

I swear, wrestling is worse than the porn industry for tragedy.

How so every other fictional show has it? People are murdered in Lost all the time, I don't see how the WWE is any different?

Believe it or not, not everyone believes it's fiction. I know that's hard to grasp, but it is so true.
