Maybe there's a role with the Flames he could take up? At least keep busy. I know he lives on the other side of the continent but he could move for one season.

I've never met Johnny Gaudreau but I met Guy once.
Now...My normal policy is "Oh hey you're *insert celebrity* cool to meet you, have a great time...bye."
But, I didnt recognize Guy right away, we were just talking hockey. He was willing to chat and then when I realized who he was I apologized for monopolizing his time.
Not once did he complain.
Such a nice person.

Guy is feeling every emotion. Utter devestation at losing his boys, pure elation at becoming a grandpa again twice to two boys, then probably sheer guilt for feeling happy at that, and everything in between. Happy to be on the ice w the flyers, watching the Flames, Columbus or Flyers and seeing the tributes, feeling proud and sadness all at once.
That tribute was a bit rough in seeing Guy, but he also strikes me as a guy who is also very real and a script isn't something he would be good at, regardless of the situation.
Here is a photo of him at Baby Tripp's baby shower though, where he looks happy.

Oh man, I kept expecting Guy to make a statement in there, so admittedly the "good luck to the Flames tonight, we're very excited to watch you play" was tough to hear. It is nice to know though, that Guy is clearly finding a lot of healing in hockey these days, and I'm sure he loved the tribute to Johnny to start the game.

I’d imagine he has his good days and bad days, and sadly probably more bad than good.
Yesterday probably brought back a lot of memories for him, he basically lived here for 9 years as well.
I just hope he can enjoy the good days as few and far between as they are.

Yeah, if there is one saving grace for the adult Gaudreaus its definitely the kids and the babies being around, but damn seeing them in that piece was heartbreaking. They all look like shells of their former selves. Which is totally understandable.
So freaking sad for them.
