Has anyone had success with a 'hypoallergenic' cat breed? Google says there's none that are truly hypoallergenic.

Second, I'm going to have to try this. I'm guessing this removes a tiny bit of rubber that causes the streaks.

Is this true?
I've always thought that the streaks were due to dirt and dust trapped under the wiper or the glass not totally smooth. I mean, I guess you could run the wipers and attempt to create microscopic serrations that make it fit better... but personally if I saw that, I'd try using a clay bar on the windshield to clean it instead. I think it was Torquedog who said it was a detailing cheat code.

Even if the fur part is eliminated, the dander isn't. My dad is like this. He's fine from the fur from our dog, but any dander exposure still triggers reactions.

Has anyone gotten their flu shot yet this year?

The wife and I got ours and it really kicked our butts. Brutally congested, achy and a bad sore throat. I suppose it's possible that we got an unrelated cold, but both of us were fine before we got them. I usually don't have a reaction apart from a sore arm.

I ain't no doctor or nuthin, but I don't think congestion and sore throat are vaccine symptoms.

Achey certainly is. Fever too.

Perhaps you got an actual virus.

Was I smart not to buy cocaine off a guy in Amsterdam off the street?

If you’re still looking, I am sure there are shops.

Oh thats even better! Drugs are expensive!

Of course I'd be dubious of free cocaine...that seems sketchy.

Yes! I'm crazy allergic to dogs and cats so we got a Siberian Forest Cat. They are crazy fluffy but I have no red eyes, no stuffy nose, nothing. I smoosh her into my face all day long and never have a reaction. Plus they sit like this all day long, it's my spirit animal.

A topic that came up recently in a conversation with some friends.

Does your mom still buy you the odd piece of clothing/socks/jacket etc? Mine does and recently a few friends praised a new shirt I had and I told them my mother bought it. They all found that exceptional weird but for me it's always been normal. I have plenty of quality Flames merchandise over the years from mama bear too!

Next random question related to mothers is....... what is your mom's signature dish that she makes that you absolutely love and can't wait to eat?

I think that's at least a bit unusual. My parents haven't bought me clothes since I became an adult. They got me a pair of leather gloves as a Christmas gift one year would be the closest.

My parents and family do this. Buys me clothes all the time. I don't find it weird. I wear it more if I like it. Don't like it, it gets purged as part of my 2-3 year wardrobe purge.

Why do people find it weird? That you get presents from your mom? Or that you have a good enough relationship that your mom can get you presents that are more... personal?

Dish wise, none from my mom. She cooks for function, not for pleasure. But my dad makes a really good pickled veggie pork belly, steamed fish and ginger/green onion crab/lobster. His beer batter game is really good too.

I assume anyone, man or woman, whose mother still dresses them at 39 probably breastfed through elementary school.

I should preface that socks, or any clothing gifts you specifically selected requested (ie you’re eying a specific jacket and a parent gets it for you for Christmas or whatever), doesn’t count.

I’m also just looking for any excuse to avoid cracking open the can of worms that is your psyche.

Mother buying a grown child clothes.............fu'ck off with that ####.

I flat out told her years ago to stop spending money on me period. I am an adult I have lots of my own money.

My mom used to make me a Cauliflower & Cheese casserole.

Sadly, she has recently forgotten how to di it, after making it what I can only assume would be 100's of times.

Ya, best to treat it like the sarlac pit. Keep your distance while tossing stuff at it, then stare in wonder.
