How did Honzek look? Kind of disappointed he got 0 points in a 6 goal effort.
Happy for Zary though, great game!

Started strong. Almost scored on his first shot. Penalties ruined the flow for a bit and he wasn’t noticeable after.
Still solid.

Something said they are storming back and winning this. Thought about going to sleep at the end of the 2nd but when we made it 4-2 just felt like we would win.
If this team was expected to compete we would have lost that game 5-3 after making it 4-3.

That was SUPER entertaining. 10/10 would watch again.
Bahl was garbage in the first, let’s just watch the guys beside us pass and score all the goals.
Go Zary!!

Janet loved sports gambling but only Wayne can do all the sports gambling commercials now. They have the wrong spokesperson. Like Pete Rose, it was always maintained that no bets were placed on their own sport.

Entertaining game!. Love the comeback if Flames can continue to outwork their opponent they will win more than some people think. Not saying they will make playoffs but it will be enjoyable watching them this season.

Guys, Flames will never get the love from the national network's so don't stress about it.
E=NG is Alberta's only team in their mind, that'll never change until they bandwagon our success at some point.
Sadly I refuse to listen to intermission tidbits these days, 90% of the time the focus on whatever team is playing against Calgary or somehow either Toronto or Edmonton neither who are even playing in the game.
Great game, great win.
Glad to see the Flames comeback there and shove it in Vancouver's face, that was a pure character game by just about everyone. Really hope they keep that emotion for next time they play, I'd love to see someone dummy one of their guys this time but clean.

Wow what a game! Thought for sure the Canucks would win this one after the 2nd, but hopefully this is a sign of things to come this season. The young Flames' players showing up on the scoresheet.
Fun game to watch and great way to start the season. Hope Rooney is okay. Mantha making a great impression on the fanbase with his Gordie Howe hattrick to start his Flames tenure. Heck, a Gordie Howe hattrick for each side. Miller was fun to watch as well, his goal to tie it up with the empty net was an absolute rocket.
Great to see Canucks fans have a roller coaster of emotions in the 3rd period and beyond. Felt great to beat them especially after being forced to cheer for them last post-season. Sign me up for me of these comebacks please!

Nope sorry all I actually missed the game entirely... worked late. I'll catch the highlights during lunch break and probably drop it sometime by evening hopefully?

Haha, it was literally his first ever NHL game and only his 3rd ever pro game.
After last season I am completely and utterly amazed that he's on the Flames roster right now. It's incredible.

Pachal had some bad moments in the first, but when he’s on, he’s quite good. Other than Weegar, I thought he was our best D.

Fell asleep after the 1st period because I'm out east, and woke up this morning to an amazing collection of Whatsapp messages in my group chat, where more than 7 people in there are Canuck fans! Reading their shift from gloating to realization that it's the same old Canucks was a fantastic way to spend the first few minutes in bed this morning!

Terrific emotion from the team in this one.
Pospisil brings it all the time. Exactly what is needed to draw Huby and Mantha into the fight.
The low expectation really does create a 2014-15 vibe!
Going to be interesting watching how the draft position of our 2 first round picks in 2025 shift game by game.
Source: https://www.tankathon.com/nhl
As of today we lose the 24th pick and get 30 and 32nd pick.

Anthony Mantha is going to be a fun player to watch and cheer for.
Heart seems to have always been the question with him. But there was a lot of intention in his play and demeanour last night. He was the one down with Rooney until the medical staff arrived. Then he was the one to challenge Miller. You don't often see that from a player who has just joined the club. Hell of a debut. One of the best for a new Flame in recent memory.

Every season opener seems to be doing one. They all seem to have the same picture of them on the clock. I believe it was the Seattle game where they had a 13 second moment of silence. All players and officials have a 13G21 sticker on their helmets.
