Flames tilted hard after the hit on Rooney. Need to get right and refocused.
Didn't love what I saw from Bahl, both 5v5 and on the PK. He isn't using his size to make up for his lack of foot speed.
Vladar. Blah. Never been a fan and this is more or less a typical game from him.

If Andersson doesn’t find his game quickly this season I’m ok with reducing his minutes & responsibilities, he hasn’t been at his best since that car accident.

Listened to a season preview show this morning and they couldn't go a minute without mentioning the Stink or one of their players, despite it being a league wide discission.
Not sure they realize how cringe it is to guzzle the edmonton water-infested kool aid that hard.

Tough first period but it was good to see Mantha score a pretty goal and stick up for his teammate. Every little bit counts toward a good deadline deal!
Honzek had a few good moments at the start of the period before things got crazy.
I trust Huska to get the team re-focused.

Southside...Living in Utah, I don't often get the Sportsnet between period stuff. ESPN usually goes to P.K. Subban and an ESPN host between periods.
