I thought Grubauer's contract may be up after this season. Nope. 3 more years.
This one is a head shaker. Francis under the gun already? He's a guy that traditionally didn't make rash or quick moves. And didn't pay a bunch. Seems out of character of late.

He was restricted in Carolina, now seems like he can do whatever in Seattle and is showing he is a terrible GM.

I guess he did play 50 games for them last year and did pretty well. Seems like a lot for a guy with a short track record. But if he plays like he did last season it's actually not that bad. Risky for sure. Last year he was the same age as Cooley and Vladar are now and might have had a breakout season. Good for him to get his money.

Ha. I had my fantasy draft last night and took Daccord exactly because of that goalie run (in a really deep league!).
I hope that Seattle is right about this guy... cause I kind of agree with you all and for the sake of my fantasy team, I don't want any of you to be right about this signing being a mistake.
