Well maybe Belichick feels bad about walking out on the Jets the first time and this is unfinished business? Also an opportunity to stick it to Kraft in the same division. At his age he can't afford to sit on the sidelines too long if he wants to get back into coaching. I will say though he looks so much happier doing TV that I don't know why he would go back to coaching as the guy just looked so miserable all the time.

If there's anywhere that Belichek would land, it would be a team like the Jets. No GM or President of Football operations wants BB in the building to upstage them. It's why he didn't get the Atlanta job this past offseason.

Instead he needs an owner that would sell out his entire football operations group to get a guy, and while there are a few owners kooky enough to do that, Jets would be near or at the top of that list given just fired a guy 5 weeks into a season...but BB's hate for the Jets hasn't disappeared.
