Big day for Klapka too.

Kid who came over to play in the USHL, wasn't drafted, went back to little fanfare and was spotted by an observant Flames scout.

Happy to be proven wrong. But if I’m on the outside looking at this team, I label it a lottery team. Its bad throughout, there are no strengths.

I think that things can definitely snowball in the positive direction. Who knows. I personally feel they will be in the bottom 3 or so, but if they get off to a winning start, the confidence can be a hell of a drug.

What I’d like to see is the Oilers regretting the loss to us on March 29 and us beating Vegas in OT on the last game of the season, giving the Knights the point that eliminates Edmonton from the playoffs

Agreed, imo they are a 1C and a 3D from being quite competitive. Those are certainly big holes but this team isn't going to be San Jose/Chicago bad.

3 prospects, Klapka, Honzek, and Coronato, starting the season on the NHL roster is about as good as it gets, IMO.
