I'm glad Pelts can get some seasoning with the Wranglers while staying with the organization (for now). It's exactly what he needs.

To hear he didn't want to be claimed it's hard to not like the kid. He would rather pass up the nhl paycheque elsewhere to remain with the Flames even if that meant in the AHL.

Could not care less about Schwindt getting claimed. Never been impressed with him in any of the games he played in pre-season or regular season. I watched him live this pre-season in Abbotsford and he was the worst player on the ice.

The only impact is for the Wranglers as he is a decent AHLer. I wonder if this open up a spot for Honzek to play Center if he gets sent down once Yegor is healthy

Good thing the coaches don't make the trades. I don't think the Flames are buying at all this year. Maybe they get a depth center in a Kuzmenko trade.
