Yeah I'd be fine with that too. Neither of those guys have cemented themselves and could benefit from time in the A.

Release Tinordi. Release Barrie (not likely). Coronato down to the A. Brz down to the A (plenty to look forward to). Morton, Duehr, Bishop, Hunt, Schwindt, Kirkland, Frk down to the A.

Really like the play of Brzustewicz, though. He's gonna be good.

He was the engine behind all that the Flames did right in this one.

Coronato is a tough one to figure out. Seems like he has it, then suddenly looks in over his head. He's close either way, but has to work out the last kinks in his game keeping him from the NHL.

Tinordi is signed. He'll go to the AHL.

I don’t think many disagree with you. I think that the Flames will agree as well. But how many people have to pass him for the Flames to decide that it’s time to move on?

Didn't get to watch the game, were Coronato and Pelletier really that unimpressive?

Pelletier was fine, Coronato struggled.

In my eyes, this season is make or break for Pelletier with the Flames. I think he and the team knows that as well. I believe they are going to give him every opportunity to succeed.
All of the other prospects that have passed him are waiver exempt. The Flames will take that into consideration. I would give him a bit of runway to start the season and see how it goes.

I remembered the time when people blamed Sutter for Phillips and Pelletier
These two guys are good AHLers and that’s it. They don’t have the next step….

I thought they all played really well considering how undermanned they were.
Jets top guys did their top guy things.
Passing judgement and any player in this game is folly. That was basically the Jets opening lineup. and they barely outplayed the rookies.

Jets had the dial at 7/10 sometimes 8. They were hardly trying. They pounced on our mistakes or we could have won this one. Jets don't care. They know they are good.

I don't know the number overall but in a year where they're not expected to compete, the number should be zero. Oh no, Pelletier gets some time in the NHL and it proves he's not meant to be a regular, I'm sure his trial sunk the Flames Cup chances. Or he gets more runway and reestablishes himself. Literally no negative for the Flames to give him the chance.

So the Sabres and Devils will be playing regular season games while the preseason keeps on going.
The NHL is a strange league.

I would. To save face with the rest of the players. They’ve sent way better players through waivers this week.
Who is going to pick up Pelletier for their main roster. I think the fear of him getting stolen is a bit overblown.
Anyway. I just don’t think he earned it. And after all of the talk at some point you have to back the talk to save face.
