Again, Paul McCartney is already far richer than 99 per cent of musicians, he’s in his 80s, and he still goes on lengthy tours and plays 2.5 hour shows. I saw him play a 30-song set in Edmonton on a Tuesday night. He doesn’t have to do that.
Maybe he’s just incredibly greedy and wants to pad his enormous bank account even more for his kids and grandkids. Safer bet is he still loves performing.
And there’s a difference between bands that tour to make money, and bands that loathe one another, hate performing, and
only tour to make money.
