If the Flames have Barrie and Kuzmenko they will have a good PP IMO. Like not #1 but substantially better than last season. Low bar I know.

I mean they had 7 seconds of PP time last night and had a goal.

I know, I meant Kaberle was good that is why Boston got him. Somehow they finished with the worst PP and won. I think it was like 9%

Chances are the Flames keep him and he won't need waivers again for 30 days. Seems unlikely a team will hand him a guaranteed roster spot.

Not sure that's a valid reason. I think NHL teams keep track of all opposition teams and certainly would know of roster players who have played NHL games no matter how few.

I think with Solovyov the story arc was that he was an over-ager drafted in the seventh round who made steady progress to beat the long odds. He's a bottom pairing/7th defenseman type, which most teams have in their system.

He's most notable for being our underdog.
