Honzek, Vladar and Solovyov all looking impressive.
Flames are playing with speed and purpose so far this preseason, and it reminds me a lot of Hartley's 2013-15 Flames edition. Great work ethic by everyone on the ice.
That shorthanded goal by Honzek was beautiful. So was his defensive game. Vladar has made some very good saves so far and looked really steady. Solovyov has been noticeably physical, and has been surprisingly good at moving the puck. That pinch by him was a great read, and later on his recovery and pass was really good.

I think Sam Morton has been fabulous. That sequence of penalty kills was impressive.

-Honzek is looking good, but I still send him down to get some pro experience and top line minutes. Same thing for Morton. Both get brought up later in the year.
-Paschal has secured a spot.
-I don't think Solo looks ready.
-Coronato, Klapka & Pelletier stay up.
