Jordan's Foreign Affairs Minister, clearly frustrated, speaking at the UN over the weekend.

Quote:
"The Israeli prime minister came here today and said that Israel is surrounded by those who want to destroy it,” Safadi said at a Friday press conference shortly after Netanyahu finished his speech at the UN General Assembly.
“We’re here — members of the Muslim-Arab committee, mandated by 57 Arab and Muslim countries — and I can tell you very unequivocally, all of us are willing to guarantee the security of Israel in the context of Israel ending the occupation and allowing for the emergence of a Palestinian state,” Safadi passionately argued.
Netanyahu “is creating that danger because he simply does not want the two-state solution. If he does not want the two-state solution, can you ask Israeli officials what is their end-game — other than just wars and wars and wars?”
“All of us in the Arab world here, want a peace in which Israel lives in peace and security, accepted, normalized with all Arab countries in the context of ending the occupation, withdrawing from Arab territory, allowing for the emergence of an independent, sovereign Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 lies with East Jerusalem as its capital,” Safadi continues.
"The amount of damage that this Israeli government has done — 30 years of efforts to convince people that peace is possible, this Israeli government killed it. The amount of dehumanization, hatred, bitterness, will take generations to navigate through,” the Jordanian foreign minister says. “We have no partner for peace in Israel, there is a partner for peace in the Arab world, and that’s why the international community needs to move.”

Lol, speaking of freedom of speech - what do you have to say about this?
Just the pot calling the kettle black

Israeli troops raided the offices of the satellite news network Al Jazeera in the Israeli-occupied West Bank early Sunday, ordering the bureau to shut down amid a widening campaign by Israel targeting the Qatar-funded broadcaster as it covers the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip.
Al Jazeera aired footage of Israeli troops live on its Arabic-language channel ordering the office in Ramallah to be shut for 45 days. It follows an extraordinary order issued in May that saw Israeli police raid Al Jazeera's broadcast position in East Jerusalem, seizing equipment there, preventing its broadcasts in Israel and blocking its websites.
The move marked the first time Israel has ever shuttered a foreign news outlet operating in the country. However, Al Jazeera has continued operating in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and in the Gaza Strip.

Because you're lying for reasons known only to yourself.
And that is an accusation I throw out lightly.
I've asked you multiple times when and where this so called car bomb exploded and you've yet been able to respond.
Now you're shifting your story and expanding the area from 2 streets away to within a mile away.
Ok then. When and where did this new event happen. L

I don't lightly throw an accusation of lying out there. It's amazing that you're crying over it yet can't even remember the year or come up with a report or record of this car bomb two streets away.
What you are claiming happened, didn't happen. I have asked you more than once for some sort of record of the event which you keep failing to do.

LOL. Yup. I call bs on this. Seems to be every Englishman you meet has got a story.
I'm lying because I'm English, I wouldn't equate it to the seriousness of antisemitism or the KKK but is still a negative judgement based on nothing more than my nationality, I must be lying because that's something the English do all the time, it's not the end of the world but it's there

I have told of the three bombs that went off within a mile from my work, the Chelsea barracks bomb was too far away so it was either Hyde park or the Hammersmith Rd, bombs were not in anyway unusual then in London, bomb threats were a daily occurrence around Christmas, nothing about the day was unusual, no one got hurt, I swept up the glass and my boss cheaped out and didnt bother getting the frame replaced he just had it nailed back into the wall and the glass replaced which was typical of him, the main thing I remember was the dogs barking, sounded like hundreds of them, and now, in retrospect, the fact there were no car alarms, this was before cars had them I guess

Oh and so we are clear this was pre cell phones or computers, there was no way to know what was going on until you watched the news that night, which as I was 22 years old working a 72 shift didn't happen, I found out it was a bomb later from my boss when I rang him to tell him the window had fallen in the common room, all we knew at the time was there was a huge bang, the whole house was rattled and one of the windows gave way

Lol. The car bomb was a couple of streets away a while back.
Listen to you. Nothing about that day was unusual. Just another day where I got "blown up by the IRA". Just blends in with the rest to the point I can't even remember anything else about it.
And oh, even though it appears that it was large enough to take out windows two streets away suggesting probable casualties it looks as if they forgot to record this significant event.
It didn't happen. You're making it up.
The smell of bs is getting stronger with your every post.

Can you both just give it a rest? Its making you both look like 10 year olds and is literally the most irrelevant discussion in this thread and that's saying a lot as there has been a lot of asinine things written in here.

I'm going to assume you are quite young, but yes before the internet there was no way to find out anything until you put on the news that night, newspapers reported news from the day before so they were useless, if you were lucky enough to work somewhere where there was a radio you might hear the news on that but otherwise you were in the dark until 6oclock that night

Stop it. You just sound stupid.
Car bomb goes off a couple of streets away (or is it miles away now? ) causing loads of damage and you're oblivious to it. It's just a non event.
You assume wrong. I'm old enough to call you on your lies.

Get over it. You were given lots of opportunity to produce some sort of record of a significant event taking place that you claimed to have happened.
It didn't happen. You made it up. I'm going to speculate that you wanted to be cyber dramatic like "waiting in a long line to get onto the escalator knowing that you might be about to get blown up".

I have said I think it was the Hyde Park bomb, a clearly documented event, you have decided that the group home I worked at in Kensington wasn't close enough to Hyde Park for that even though you have no effing clue where the group home was and Hyde Park is in Kensington and the Gloucester Rd runs up to Hyde Park putting the home within a few blocks of the bomb
But this has nothing to do with where the house was as you don't know, it has nothing to do with whether the event was documented as you can look up multiple bombings that happened in West London in the era, they are without doubt, no this is just about the fact you think I'm a liar because I'm English, it's what you started this discussion with, own your own prejudice

That isn’t racism.
And in the context of the discussion about IRA bombing it’s not even prejudice. Who else other than englishmen would have an IRA story.

You know you could put this all to bed with the location of the group home you worked in at the time. The damage from the blasts are well documented and also you could calculate the size of the shockwave given the mass the the explosive used reasonably well known.
