PP has the entirety of Post Media consistently blowing him and trashing Trudeau. Complaining that the media is unfair to him is straight up Trump ####.

If he's so much like Trump... why does the media need to splice phrases together in order to misrepresent him?
That certainly isn't necessary with Trump.

He seems really well liked internationally. It's internally where people are tired and looking for change.

Internationally he's be fine, besides his complete and utter joke of a foreign minister.
I think most times people don't pay attention to internal country issues. As an example I have little to new clue about housing costs in Australia, but when we sign a free trade or security pact with Australia, I pay more attention.

Is he crying or pointing out something legitimate? I think it's odd you care more about him rightfully defending himself than clear deception by a major media outlet.

Poilievre isn't so much like Trump. Trump can at least claim some real world life experience outside politics.

I listened and viewed the clip in question to judge for myself, it was pretty bad. The way it was spliced reminds me of the Simpsons Sweet Candy episode. Absolutely no way that was not deliberate.
CTV made an apology but Poilievre and the CPC is running on it, and he should. It was pretty blatant.
CBC for their part not missing a chance to take a swipe.
https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/poi...-ctv-1.7332571
CTV has made concerted efforts to scrub the broadcast both on their website and Youtube. Quite an odd action to go the scorched earth method if it was an innocent and honest splicing mistake.

Someone should be fired for this. Such great fuel for the anti-media crowd.

The Bloc has two demands of the government or they claim that they will take them down if not met by the end of October:
Quote:
Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet laid out a list of demands Wednesday he said the government must fulfil by the end of October if it wants to avoid the risk of an early election.
Speaking to reporters on Parliament Hill, Blanchet said the Bloc wants the government to push through a bill, C-319, that would hike Old Age Security (OAS) payouts by 10 per cent for seniors between the ages of 65 and 74. The government topped up OAS payments for seniors aged 75 and older in 2022.
Blanchet also said he wants the government to agree to pass a Bloc private member's bill, C-282, that exempts the supply-managed farm sectors — dairy, poultry and eggs — from any future trade negotiations.

Sure didn't, but nice deflection. Are you disputing that PP uses similar rhetoric regarding the media as Trump?

C-282 sounds like a horrible ask considering that it would permanently exclude the supply managed sectors from any trade negotiations and would basically mean that the Canada market is shut out of importing foods in that sector. We would be stuck with made in Canada goods and held hostage by the supply managed sector.

Trust me, you have no interest in importing dairy/poultry/eggs from US.

Maybe, but this would also impact other trading partners like European countries which have vastly superior products to Canada. Also, it is my understanding, that this type of bill could have repercussions in other trade negotiations and could negatively impacts Canada's ability to secure deals. If country A can't access the Canada cheese market they limit our exports of beef, pork, wheat or whatever.
