Act your age. You stopped playing with kids toys when you became a teenager, so WTF are you riding one now as an adult?

Work harder and maybe you could afford a car?

On the parking/driving front,

Im just so ####ing sick of Uber / food delivery drivers.

Entitled drivers stopped in the most insanely frustrating places, blocking traffic waiting for their orders.

Then, restaurants themselves are just inundated with delivery drivers wanting orders.

All for lazy people wanting cold food that tastes worse than it should be priced at more than it should be.

Go out and get your own damn food you lazy POS

I will say it's kind of a godsend for weekends when you have have had a few too many pops (and/or recreational drugs) and the munchies.

It is surprising how many people are willing to pay more for crappier food just to save themselves a short drive.

Are you?

People time and time again prove themselves to be dumb and lazy.

Insurance has the best data so if there was a group of drivers who were able to get in substantially less at fault accidents there rates would have remained low while others spiked.

That suggests that accidents are infrequent enough that “bad” drivers are able to hide amongst the good drivers or that “bad” drivers don’t exist in the lower insurance cost cohorts and don’t affect the rates.

It will be interesting as the safe driving discount APs proliferate if we start to see higher base rates and higher performance based discounts. If this occurs it will suggest that bad drivers were increasing good driver rates even within the same cohort

I order delivery if I’m intoxicated on the weekend or I’m slammed with meetings and I don’t have time to make lunch during the week.

Otherwise my cheapness far outweighs my laziness.

I only order from Uber and others when they give me a promo code that is 50% off or more and can be stacked with a BOGO deal or something else. At least with Uber their promos can't be used with pickup anymore.

Or save time.....you say short drive but ignore not having to also wait in line. If someone can save themselves 30 minutes and be more productive at work for example then why not?

To some people time is more important than the money spent for a delivery service. Why do we need to pretend your way is the only way? If someone feels they wanna spend 10 extra dollars to get their food delivered then who cares.

Not sure why people need to judge people's intentions when they don't know their situation.

If I'm working, I'll order lunch and the time saved driving and waiting in line is worth it to me for the extra 7 dollars.

Cause that’s half the point of the thread and it’s more entertaining this way. You might as well close the thread if you only want agreement and empathy.

Heaven forbid we enjoy some luxuries lol.

I can hang out doing things I enjoy while somebody makes my food and then a guy picks it up and drops it off. It's not like I'm so lazy I'm sitting in a chair staring at the wall the whole time. I'm doing stuff. Heck, maybe I'm even relaxing. My favourite thing to spend money on is anything that gives me enjoyment, takes away stress, or adds to my free time. Skip is great.

It's great when you're alone with the kids too, if I'm feeling like not cooking I'm definitely not feeling like packing up my three goobers in to the car either.

I’m glad it’s just Skip now.

‘Skip the Dishes’ really annoyed me because you pretty much skipped everything except the dishes.
