"Leon Draisaitl looked as good as ever, finding linemates Vasily Podkolzin and Raphael Lavoie for a few great chances they just couldn't finish. Lavoie in particular looked very comfortable playing next to Draisaitl, as he found himself open for some of the Oilers' best chances of the game, only to be stymied by Cooley."
"Even in a meaningless pre-season game, Connor McDavid is still Connor McDavid. He engineered the Oilers' first goal, turning a give-and-go with Alex Kannok-Leipert into an odd-man rush before finding a wide-open Zach Hyman in front. In the third period, he finally got Oilers fans on their feet with a classic McDavid rush gaol on a late powerplay."

I'm guessing 3 stars to be 1. McDavid (2 points!). 2. Drasaitl (good as ever!) and 3. Bouch Bomb (29 minutes!)

All nice and quadratic for ya!

Yeah. Both are true
99% who play year round don't make it
99% who make it play year round

Sam Honzek and Matt Coronato have combined for ten points in the last two games.
All three goalies have looked good.
Sharky-Kadri-Kuz are gonna be the top line.
Zary with 11 and 20 will fit like a glove.
Even Huberdeau-Pospisil-Mantha looked good.
What is there to complain about?

Playing around with VPN and loaded some Canadian apps on Apple TV. I went to TSN to watch some highlights from last night.
In the two games, the Flames won on aggregate 12-4. So naturally the TSN highlights reported in this order:
News on Evander Kane
Two McDavid chances he didn’t put away
One Flames goal
Two Oilers goals
WTF?

Who cares, really? It's kinda silly when people get their panties in a bunch about coverage. The Oilers are probably significantly more popular Canada wide than the Flames. Tailor your coverage to the people who watch.

Being perplexed over the editing of a report that focuses on the brilliance of a team that got pumped is hardly in “panties in a bunch” territory. The editing of that piece was pretty much the equivalent of this:

Not to mention, let's try to at least be truly accurate, not just spin what you think will give you clicks. This is one of the problems with reporting these days.

Reading that article I was sure it was written by Spector, nope. 'Finn Marceau' is the latest oiler media fanboy. How many of these guys do the No-Goods have??

1) drop the sexist garbage
2) this is a discussion board - discussing things is kind of the point
3) the case can be made that it is a chicken and egg issue... do they show less Flames' highlights because there are fewer Flames fans, or are there fewer Flames fans because they get less coverage?
It is hardly unreasonable to expect a national sports network to present a somewhat balanced presentation of a game involving 2 Canadian teams

Men can wear panties, they can get in knots, it's not sexist.

He honestly wasn't even good for the vast majority of the game.
You know who did "dazzle"? About four or five different Flames players between the two games.
These media outlets are getting supremely lazy around any games involving Bumonton.

Somehow this turned into a Curb your Enthusiasm episode. Which would also work for this Oilers season.

I thought the bolded was a paraphrase. Nope. It's right in there. You'd think McDoofus scored a point in each game.
Author no doubt thinks he did.
