Meh, don't have an issue with that. Absolutely 100% every dressing room at the playoffs or some point in a season, including the Flames, would have that emotion coming from a team leader. The general public never sees it.
McDavid like most top players (started with Crosby) have been coached to be vanilla and show no emotion or have much of a personality outwardly to keep one self from having analysis done on you, which makes this look a bit more jarring.

I don't think he was yelling at his teammates. I think he was yelling at himself to play better. That's the most likely explanation since McDavid was one of the least noticeable players in game 7.

How.. Gollum-esque
Phew, that makes it way less weird.

Is "DIG IN!! RIGHT NOW!! the new "LET'S GO!!" maybe he'll even keep the boys on their toes with a mighty "LET'S GO!! RIGHT NOW!!". The possibilities are...9*.
*Only 2 can be combined at a time. That's graduate level in Bumonton U.

It sounded scripted to me for the cameras.

Yeah that's actually exactly what I would want to see from a captain if his team wasn't good enough in a SCF game. I think the biggest mistake some players can make is thinking they will get another chance when they are that close. For a lot of players, their first appearance in the finals can end up as their lone opportunity to win a cup and you have to leave it all out there. I think Oilers and their fans may find that out the hard way as I don't think the stars will align for them in the playoffs as they did this season.

Had another very proud fatherly moment last night...
Took my 5 year old son to the game last night in Calgary. I was explaining the concept of pre-season rosters and split squad game to him. He then asks "Will Connor McDavid be playing here tonight?", to which I responded that he'll be playing up in Edmonton tonight. He then followed up with "Oh that's too bad, I wanted to see him whine and cry so we could laugh at him all night!"
We then continued to laugh at the Oilers all night on route to a 6-1 victory, and were following the box score of the other 6-3 win, imagining how much Connor was whining and crying up north!

Watching the highlights from the at-Edmonton game, I don't know if there's another fan base that over-celebrates like they do. They score a goal to make it 4-1 and you would think the cup was about to be raised.

Haha. So I am guessing you guys liked the Gulutzan stick toss
Watching Hyman and the other guy stacking their shelves it looked like “Oh, Connor is yelling again. Whatever”. No need to stop what you’re doing, he will be done his tantrum soon
Also if yelling at people that they aren’t good enough, maybe you all love Hartley too
