Thanks for bringing up one of the bigger online gear grinders.
I get that the amount of inconsistent exceptions to english spelling can throw people for a loop, especially if it's not their first language. But if it's your native dialect figure it the #### out.
Middle aged people typing out "should of" makes me sad in a similar way.
The "of" sound is "'ve", the contraction of "have".
Should have --> should've

If it makes you feel any better, in my personal version of the story I made up she pulls through… all thanks to 81MC’s sunflower.

I smelled the smelts as soon as I opened the bucket and I knew I had smelt them on other fishing boats.

I can't believe we evolved from they're, their, there and to, too over to things like, roll vs role, should of vs should've, cue vs queue etc. It drives me bonkers, but I've learned it doesn't matter.
Ignore dumb things, things are copacetic. No need to correct everything.

Naaaahhhh. Accuracy of language is pretty damn important. So is, you know… learning.

It would be great if one of the many scam "final notices" about an unpaid parking ticket or package delivery texts I receive was actually a final notice.

I know that. But arguing this with someone who should have learned it by now and hasn't... I learned it's a waste of effort. I'm better off just ignoring it.

The army has an odd use of "seen".
In short it is an acknowledgement on anything in a conversation showing you understand.

Yeah that is annoying but at least you can understand what they’re trying to say. I knew a guy who used “are” instead of “our”. It took a long time to figure that one out, and he kept doing it after someone corrected him.

If they continue after being gently (as best as one can) corrected, then it's over.
At that point it's just deliberate evil doing.

Gee, why don't bikes stay in the bike lane? Hrmm...Good thing the 4-ways are on, that makes it legal.
Can I just, like, email this to the cops or something and they'll send a ticket? That'd be the dream.
Also had a truck blow through a red turning left in front of me, because stop signs don't apply to massive hulking trucks, I guess.
#### I hate people. Why are you all so awful?

I’m sorry you had to endure the trauma of cycling 4’ to the left for a brief moment.
