Were some of these guys just drunk in Penticton?
They play better against men than boys.

I gotta say, kudos to the Kraken tv broadcast team. Very professional. Zero bias at all. Calls it like it is. Wish the Canadian national broadcasts were like that.

Coleman scored 30 last year and is a respected veteran, he's not getting demoted to the 4th line.
Sharangovich-Kadri-Kuzmenko
Huberdeau - Zary/Pospisil - Mantha
Coleman - Backlund - Coronato
Pelletier - Zary / Pospisil - Lomberg
Rooney
Let Zary and Pospisil have a little competition. Both wanted to play center and keeps them hungry .
Young guys looked great tonight.
Liked the entire d-core. Poirier and Brzustewicz looked great as a pair. Grush was good with Parekh who played a steady game. Bean and Pachal led the core as the vets.
Coronato and Honzek the most noticeable forwards for me. But Klapka and Stromgren looked good too. Pelletier was quiet offensively but played well in a more defensive role.

I really hope these are early signs that Klapka and Coronato have figured out the NHL.
Would be a great boost to the team.
So many contenders for those 6 starting spots on D.

I don’t think you can demote Coleman after the season he just had. Flames would be better off trying to develop a 4th line that can provide pace and offensive ability with something like:
Lomberg - Klapka - Coronato with Rooney in the AHL and Pelletier as 13th forward.
If Coronato keeps playing like this, I imagine he knocks Mantha out of the top-9 before he knocks Coleman down.

It’s awesome how quickly this team has accrued so many exciting prospects. In most years, there’s 2 or maybe 3 guys that you’re excited about their future with the team. Now there are at least a dozen I can think of right now.
Coronato, Honzek, Klapka, Gridin, Misa, Basha, Lipinski, Parekh, Grushnikov, Solovyov, Brzustewicz and Poirier… I’m certain I’m forgetting someone.
Of course, lots of those guys won’t work out. But they are all players with skillsets that make them intriguing prospects that could become impact players in the NHL.

Yeah baby! The kids are alright. That was super fun. Loved Coronato’s game, Grush pushing guys around, Wolf rocking it and Parekh looks so smooth and passes right on the tape.

Fun times watching the Flames prospects bully a more seasoned Kraken lineup. McCann going after Grushnikov out of frustration late captured the game dynamic. Even Honzek bullied his way around the Stromgren collision. Pachal single handedly served notice to the entire Seattle bench early that no one with their head down would be safe. Brustewicz is going to be a stud, I hope he goes to the Wranglers and plays big minutes in key situations. Coronato was the best forward for either team. Klapka just cannot be dismissed, his backcheck late in the game combined with goals and using his size in scrums makes him intriguing for a surprise opening night roster addition. And a shoutout to Rooney for selflessly blocking shots on the PK in pre season.

Well done, young kids. Haydn Fleury is stupid. Gets twisted by our youngsters, puts Stromgren head first into the boards. Better take his number for a lesson later. Refs in fine format, PPs 6 - 3 for the Kraken.
