I got tired of reading backwards to see where an actual conversation was taking place, but from my understanding it was Israel and they took credit.

Generally, I think it was pretty well targeted to reduce civilian casualties with maximum impact. I can't imagine anyone but hezzbolah using pagers, so if you have a pager you are likely hezzbolah.

Yeah, I was confused by what chubeyr is going on about. Pretty certain I heard on CBC this morning that Israel had claimed they took out a high ranking Hezzbolah commander with the attack.

While it’s more targeted, I guess, it must be concerning to the population as a whole too.

If you're a health care worker, I imagine that you've probably had the same pager for years, and wouldn't have run out to get a recent shipment. I'd be surprised if a doctor got tapped by this.

To be fair, I would assume this was a bulk order that would have been distributed by Hezbollah, to Hezbollah. They probably weren't being bought by hospitals for distribution.

From what is readily available, 37 casualties to date with Lebanese authorities reporting 12 of those to be civilians including two health care workers, a 9 year old, and an 11 year old.

Not sure what you get out of just making up assumptions about who uses pagers in a country 1000s of miles away, and then when told that you're likely not correct, imagining another fact about how long someone has had their pager in said country.

What's the point of making all these assumptions?
