$499.99 CAD for the Authentic Pro from Fanatics. Also looks like the Authentic Pros don't have the jersey ads:

To be fair the Fanatics Authentic Pros are the exact same jersey the players will wear.

Previously the Authentic Pros that Adidas sold were "upgraded" fan jerseys but the players' jerseys came from a different facility and still had some features that Adidas didn't sell to fans.

Can't really say. The true authentics were never for sale under Adidas.

It looks like the near authentics are selling for the same price as the same near authentics the Adidas ones sold for ($269ish, as they are $319 lettered and numbered ). Then the cheaper "breakaway" $199 ones.

Apologies if I've missed it in another thread, but any first hand reviews of the mid-tier Fanatics jerseys, specifically the name stitching?

I was keen on a Wolf jersey in pre-season, but prospects are always a risk, of course. Is he even still a prospect?

The Adidas pro jerseys were pretty far from being actual pro jerseys. Definitely a much better cut than the replicas but the materials and stitching would not have held up to game play.

The actual pro jerseys were always very expensive growing up. I remember the player worn quality jerseys costing around $200 in the early 90s/late 80s.
Probably pretty close to current price point adjusted for inflation.

And also player worn jerseys from the late 80's/early 90's were as bad as the worst quality fanatics jerseys today.

I bought a Fanatics Premium Flames jersey, no nameplate or numbers so I can't comment on the stitching but I can tell you this one is pretty much identical to the Adidas Authentic (the ones made in Indonesia). Nothing has changed really. I did find it fits maybe a touch smaller but that could be that I've gotten a touch larger.

Great, that's really helpful. Thank you. It's about the same price as the Adidas, so makes sense. Looks like I'm jinxing Wolf.

As a bit of background. I have over 100 hockey jerseys including many Adidas 'Authentic' Primegreen stitched jerseys, many of them being Calgary Flames customized jerseys.

This fall I bought a Fanatics premium Capitals stitched Ovechkin third jersey ("Screaming Eagle") from fanatics and I can say that the Fanatics premium is highly similar to the Adidas 'Authentic' Primegreen jerseys. Only noticeable difference is the shoulder dimples from Adidas is gone and the NHL logo on the collar is more holographic than shiny chrome reflecting the on-ice design changes. The numbering and name customization was of high quality on the Ovechkin jersey and similar quality as my last adidas customized purchase (Goathead Buffalo Dahlin jersey)

I would say purchasing a Wolf Fanatics Premium Flames jersey would be fine qualitywise and the customization should be decent quality. For best results getting a fanatics premium from the CGYstore would ensure the customization is to the exact specification of the Flames.

Definitely order a Flames jersey from the CGY team store if you’re getting custom.

When I got mine, I thought it looked a bit odd (the name was a bit bigger than I thought it would be) but when I poked around I realized it matched up to the on-ice jerseys perfectly in terms of how it looked and the ones I was comparing it to in my mind were actually off spec.
