- Why PP lied about his reason for not getting clearance
- What is the real reason he hasn’t pursued clearance or why he has been denied clearance
- How much foreign influence impacted the Conservative leadership race, who has been implicated, and what is going to be done about it
I tend to believe it is likely no worse than the foreign interference involving the Liberal party, but the secrecy, lies, and complete lack of action by PP is making me question whether it’s safe to believe that at this time.

I am not doubting your itemized list is correct, but can you provide your source so I can read it please?
Thanks.

His claim was that if he had security clearance, he could no longer effectively criticize the government on the matter. But intelligence officials rebuffed that claim:
Quote:
Initially, Mr. Poilievre and Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet both rejected offers for the access to classified reports because they said it would muzzle their public efforts to hold the government to account. However, in the last week, top intelligence officials have said that secrecy rules would not prevent leaders from acting on the information they receive. On Tuesday, Green Party Leader Elizabeth May held a lengthy news conference detailing what she learned from the classified report.
In the wake of those developments, Mr. Blanchet agreed to receive the briefing and on Tuesday said he is in the process of getting clearance.
The Conservative Leader though remains unconvinced. The party confirmed he will not get the briefing on Wednesday.

Not sure if he is lying, but why would he not want Clearance if he will be the next Prime Minister?

Maybe he was thinking there would be an election, after the election he would have the clearance. Lol.
I don’t know…

I would think it would be a basic requirement of the job- I had to get one to chaperone my daughter's class to the Zoo, so one should be required to be PM.

I mean, PP should get security clearance but that isn't at all the same thing you get for CBE field trips or to coach a sports team.

You’re aware of the clown we currently have correct? The one that embarrasses Canadians every time he’s on a world stage?

It is a strange argument to say "I need less information to provide better opposition or counterpoints".
I'm surprised that it isn't a requirement for the leaders of every party to go through that process.

As a top 3 worst PM of all time Blackface Mr Dressup, Pierre Magaboy would be the worst PM in Cdn history!
If you vote for him you might as well say you are a olive branch wielding freedumb trucker who protests next to the Petro Can on Highway 1.. lol

This is all talk no action, anyone wanna enter a group bet?
The bet: Pierre Poilievre will not be Prime Minister.
Losers pay $50 to a charity that we agree upon. And show your receipts!

Charity seems like a cop out. You probably donate to charity anyway so this wouldn’t be new money to charity.
I want to change the bet though - The Cons will win the most seats in the next election. (I’m unsure if minority government negotiations would leave PP out of the big chair)

Feb 2022 I bet a friend a bottle of scotch PP wouldn't be the next PM.
I think I'm going to owe him a bottle. Things have really changed in 2 years.

Since you seem to be doing a vague call out here, why not just name the posters in question? I'm curious to know where you are going with this one since I don't recall this being the case.
