it was such a switch, I almost wondered if production told them to change it up

"Baywatch me."
This week, the teams travel to New Brunswick (and Michael & Tyson take a detour to Nova Scotia), and the lead changed hands a few times. In the end, Michael & Tyson take a chance on taking a 2 hour penalty rather than completing the final challenge... and it pays off, just barely.
Kevin & Gurleen are going home.
- Lauren & Nicole (win trip to Paris and $10,000)
- Taylor & Katie
- Colin & Matt
- Michael & Tyson (took 2 hour penalty)
- Kevin & Gurleen
- Michael & Amari
- Julia & Olivia
- Brad & Sam
- Connor & John

- surferguy: Connor & John / Connor & John
- Yeah_Baby: Julia & Olivia / Taylor & Katie
Next week, the Finale in Edmonton (boo). They had a 4 team final two years ago, but that was the weird COVID season. It will be most-exciting thing to happen at Commonwealth Stadium since Canada beat Mexico in World Cup qualifying in 2021.

Guess I should have watched this week. I don't know if it's this particular season or if I'm just getting tired of the show altogether, but I've been fast-forwarding more and haven't even watched the last few episodes.
I'm glad to see that Kevin and Gurleen are gone. I debated between them and Michael and Amari when making my pick but ultimately didn't choose them because I didn't like them before the show even began.

The smug SOB at the end proclaimed " they are lucky we didn't make it to the end. We would have won it all!"
lol. they lost by less than 5 mins because of him! Screwed up the challenge but not reading the correct english term. They would have finished 3rd. Then saying "i know where this pit stop is! we don't need to ask anyone!" and then not knowing costing them at least 15 mins after getting lost.

Yep a couple major mistakes by Kevin cost them, and he almost got them eliminated with similar ones a couple times earlier. Hate to see intentional challenge skipping rewarded though, I thought it was a 4 hour penalty?

Early on I thought my team was cooked.
And yeah, I'm torn. On one hand, Kevin isn't going to win. However skipping was rewarded.

This site has a summary of the penalties: https://amazingrace.fandom.com/wiki/...ties#Penalties
According to that, if you fail to complete a Detour, it's a 6 hour penalty; if you fail to complete a Road Block, it's a 4 hour penalty; and if you fail to complete a "Route Info" task, it's a 2 hour penalty.

"I'm gonna puke!"
Well, at least one team from Edmonton was able to win something this year.
This week, the final four make their way to Edmonton for the finale. It was another close finish (or at least the editing made it seem that way), but the home town team pulled out the victory and Taylor & Katie are the Champions of The Amazing Race Canada 10.
- Taylor & Katie: OutOfTheCube & Yeah_Baby
- Colin & Matt: Fuzz & GirlySports
- Michael & Tyson: getbak & Cheese
- Lauren & Nicole: Cheese & WhiteTiger

I really enjoyed this episode.
You know minus the Vietnam like flashbacks to writing exams in the Butterdome.
Thanks again for organizing this! Now that my team won, I'll never win again haha.

Ok, caught up since I've been away the last couple weeks and not able to watch.
Glad to see K&G gone. Didn't deserve to be as high as they ended up.
I liked the last episode, despite my team deciding that was the perfect time to take it easy and take their foot off the gas.
