I don’t think there’s a solution towards peace in that region. The hatred is ingrained on both sides. It takes a few generations to get rid of hatred like that. They seem to have flare ups every few years.

It’s a problem that will never be solved in my mind.

There's not enough time for generations to like each other, eventually in this generation some crazy religious nut will get a hold of a nuke from Iran or Russia and use it, and of course Israel will retaliate and the middle east will never be the same.

Aren’t these people you were pretending to care about? You don’t seem to care when the IDF shoots Israeli hostages and you don’t seem to care about any hostages or other Israelis if they speak against Netanyahu (going so far as completely dismissing their concerns). That doesn’t seem like someone who cares about hostages, that seems like someone who cares about defending a far-right government’s actions (and inaction) regardless of what anyone who really matters (the civilian victims in all this) says.

I thought GGG’s post was perfect, nothing more to add. But maybe all of the supposed “pro-Israel” posters could weigh on why they see fit to ignore some of the least sane ramblings when it’s from someone that supports their side. Probably for similar reasons as to why the violence committed by Israelis on Palestinians in the West Bank is no big deal. Because… when it’s your “side,” a little bit of violence, murder, and rape is OK, right? So in that context, what’s a crazy post or two calling former hostages and Israeli civilians “brown shirts” because they don’t support the cause? No big deal.
