Well Trump doesn’t need to slip up. He’s a raging lunatic. That probably caters to his fans, but it’s off putting and even if drives 5% of people away that’s a big W.
Also I don’t think you understand the reach Swift has.
This is who Trump always is though, and expressing his demented thoughts never seems to lose him ground.
Harris winning debates is good if it gets new voters, but as far as taking votes away from Trump, it's a lost cause. I personally don't think she should debate him anymore. This is where Trump has an advantage. It's impossible for him to slip up. Harris could hit a homerun, and it won't hurt Trump. But if she slips just a little, it could hurt her I think more than winning helps her.
Listening to Rubio spin it was pretty frustrating as well. He went on about Democrats, by allowing flexible voting during the pandemic, killed confidence that the election was fair. No, what killed confidence was the Republican propaganda putting fear into fringe conspiracy lunatics.

Social media influencers rule this modern world. What they say often goes amongst millenials and gen z.
Taylor is the ultimate social media influencer. Call her the kingmaker. She has that much influence these days, for good or bad.
I don't love that our society is in this state, but it's a reality we have to accept.

She's going to help Harris tap into that third of the country that usually never votes.
This has the potential to be a blowout election now. That said, complacency is the undoing of any campaign, and must be avoided. This election is still likely to come down to a few swing states no matter how much Swift's endorsement helps Harris.
