In 2015, when the Bruins took Zboril at 13, Debrusk at 14, and Senyshyn at 15, the next three picks were Matt Barzal, Kyle Connor, and Thomas Chabot. They also left Travis Konecny, Brock Boeser, and Joel Eriksson-Ek on the board.
Can you imagine....

And somehow they managed to not be a total tire fire. One of the best run franchises even. Despite what for most teams would set them back a decade.

It was mentioned on the 32 Thoughts podcast that Kulemin has a son who plays under 16 AAA hockey in Toronto.
I wonder if it is a case of Kulemin just wanting to settle in Canada and trying to see if he can get one more pay cheque. Good for him if he can make it work, because why not try.

Some of it is hindsight though as Zboril wasn't really a reach, but Debrusk was was more ranked in the late 20s and Senyshyn was in the 2nd
If they just went by Bob Mckenzie's list they would have taken Zboril, Barzal, and Connor.
