Likely most of the players who were at the development camp earlier in July except the guys who are heading back to play in Europe or college.

Thanks for that! Looks like sales have been brisk so there's nothing left in the centre sections, but managed to snag a quartet by the blueline which likely would have been gone if I'd waited til the general release.
Very stoked for another year of this tournament when the Flames should actually be fun to watch.

Based on history, I would expect Flames to announce their tournament roster on Monday or Tuesday.

The same thing happens every year with this tournament - fans get all excited about the new prospects, and assume that the team with the best young prospects will dominate, but every year, it's the 21 and 22 year olds that dominate against the 18 and 19 year olds.

That is true, especially when a team brings in the majority of their AHL team. They already know each other and know haw to play a structured game.
I think the big thing is more the little things or plays by individual players.

By the way, I'm not trying to trash it - it's a great event.
Just saying, for Flames fans that think the Flames will dominate because they have better prospects, well you're probably going to be disappointed with the results. Just enjoy getting a first glimpse of the new players. Results are completely irrelevant.
