Just 2 cents…but many contracts have morality clauses and I wouldn’t be surprised if there is “information that you get from doing your job” clauses.
This isn’t “a manager told me that there are likely to be a few surprises at the top of the draft…”. This is literally inside information about who is going where.
Anyone who has done finance work knows exactly about knowing something and agreeing that you won’t use that information for you or your friend’s financial gain. Whether it has material impact or value is irrelevant.

Yeah Oiler fans in the media are a whole different level for sure. I was talking more about people crying all the time too about bias towards the Leafs from personalities from Ontario, when from what I have seen, they are actually even more hard on the Leafs than other Canadian teams.

I wonder if Kyle retains his current role as essentially the in-arena host of all Toronto games? He does a good job and I imagine he'd want to keep that role. Will be busy for him though with both!
Already seeing the benefits of having a Flames fan in the seat, in Kyle. On today's podcast, Friedman gave his thoughts on the Flames at this point and at what could have been and sounded like the end of the Flames update, Kyle brought up the new arena as almost an additional thing before moving on, which Elliotte then spoke to as well. Good stuff!
