That however takes a certain level of wit and integrity. Without that they end up coming across as something else that I’m quite sure they don’t intend

Some people don't realize the flip side of people sharing information and I'm sorry that someone decided to spoil your input Sec, its a shame someone here had more joy ruining it for the rest of us rather than respect what it is you're doing for the site.

It doesn't take a forensic analysis to see the site loved the info sharing. It drove discussion and got everyone pumped up.

I think with that we are all allowed to decide how much you want to believe it.

But to constantly belittle the source, and potentially even find a way to make it impossible for the guy to come back against the wishes of a huge majority takes a special kind of person.

Can't imagine this type of person is whole lot of fun to spend time with in any capacity.

Everyone considers fun to be something else. It's a very subjective term. If fun is looking at gifs and considering that news then all the power to whoever wants to buy into that. I certainly don't. I never said sec didn't have sources, I believe he does unlike someone like dissentowner who I think just makes things up but if he never actually types out anything that he's hearing then I don't really care for that type of news.

It doesn't need to be an echo chamber in here where everyone is salivating over these gifs. Maybe I could read the room better but this is also a discussion forum and I type what's on my mind and thats what was on my mind. Sec said one year ago that someone was forwarding information to his work and he still posted stuff so not sure what the difference is now and why the need to announce it multiple times. I also did it while not insulting him unlike some posters who can only turn to personal insults to make their point

You don't need to like what I think, but I don't see why I shouldn't just say what I think as long as it doesn't cross any lines. I'm not stopping sec from posting, he himself said he can't post anymore. People don't like differing opinions is what this boils down to and why every thread is mostly a echo chamber and people are afraid to actually say what's on their mind.

No one is saying they're against differing opinions.

But when the actions of some persuade a person from offering information they're not offering a differing opinion.

They're actively feeling the self importance that they need to ruin things for others.
