Yeah I actually find that very strange. Says it’s due to expense but it doesn’t seem like an overly expensive show outside of the period nature of it.

I'm only a couple episodes in, but it makes me think of the greek mythology version of Good Omens so far... maybe not quite that good, but channelling a similar sense of fun and a similar style of storytelling.

I think the directing talent wasn't cheap.

Got around to Bosch: Legacy Season 2, and man it hit me right in the feels when Lance Reddick shows up in the finale.

Just finished Only Murders in the Building (season 1). Enjoyable enough that I will watch season 2. Martin Short showed some depth as a failing theater director with $ problems. When Steve Martin was drugged in the finale, it reminded me of his Ruprecht character in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Gomez was quite wooden as an actress IMO.
Finally watched WandaVision - the first few episodes are incredible, and Elizabeth Olsen is especially good.

OMITB was a steady decline for me through subsequent seasons - Season 4 is starting to be a bit of an uptick from 3, but time will tell.

I really enjoyed all 3 seasons of OMITB. Season 1 was the best, but that's the way it always goes.

Season 4 is always somewhat controversial, I think Seasons 2 and 3 are peak.
Honestly, I think they were just all done by S4. They shortened it, its not quite as tight, the villain is less fun.
I think for S4 they all knew it was over, the actors were exhausted and it was just time to wrap it up.
S3 was a masterpiece though. That season was a lot of fun!

AS to the bolded...yeah, that never really gets better. She's pretty terrible.
Wandavision is a surprising treat. A pretty fascinating character study to watch a superhero go through a mini psychotic break from reality. Also, just a lot of fun to watch too.

Yeah Wandavision overall was fun. Starts of very intriguing, but the ending suffers from some lack of imagination IMO, considering the lead character can manipulate reality.
I might watch it again though now that it's been some time.

Season 4 suffers from a mostly different setting, as they couldn't use the same town, and Job not being in it as much.

Yeah, I think some of the fun of it was the mystery and the fact that the writers and actors and actors had to dance around that mystery and by S4 it was essentially done.
So you didn't have that foil anymore.
They tried a few different things, but as I said before, I think they all knew it was more or less done and essentially phoned it in.
It was still a solid season, it was just a dip in quality. S1-S3 were outstanding!

Was it Banshee S4 where the actors were on the verge of mutiny due to the intensity of the fight scenes? Though somebody mentioned that

That was me, and yes.
Thats why they shortened the season to only 8 episodes...in a way, hilariously, because what I read was that the show-runner declined to reduce the fight scenes or severity so he just made it so that there were fewer of them.
Which is an interesting way to go about things.
But the amount of fighting and stunts they did in that show is pretty insane.
I recall reading, and it was a long time ago, but there was a fight scene in a creek and Antony Starr was just done. Just completely done.

Speaking of Mind Hunter. I watched Hamilton on Disney a while back and I kept thinking King George III looked familiar. Yup, it's Jonathan Groff, the actor who played Holden Ford in Mind Hunter.
That dude can sing!!
