He is falling because he is from Russia and had a bad second half, but his upside is awesome. At this point in the draft he is a steal.
If we are going to risk that Aucoin is going to get healthy and magically return to top four level, shouldn't we take the chance that Cherepanov is the player that was the best forward at the WJHC and a offensive dynamo.

We should take Cherepanov. Doesn't exactly fit in with our style, but BPA is BPA.
Not to mention he'd be pretty good on our second line as a pure scoring line and on the PP.

It is hit or miss with Russian players. It is because of HIM. NHL says there is no transfer problem. Only one team even asked.
