I’ll be stopping by at some point tonight, the feeling is very weird. I’m excited to see the memorial and seeing everyone coming together but that feeling is far outweighed by the somber nature of it all.
This feeling is almost the same as when Dimebag Darrel was killed (for me anyways). Far too young and talented, much like Gaudreau.

I got banned for 24 hours, came back with an apology post and admitted my posts were insensitive. Apparently that wasn't enough for Mr Ethical himself.
Not sure if the username refers to snow or cocaine, but if that's the latter, he probably needs to cut back on the lines.

As I said a legit insider confirmed the conversation in the car at the last minute. Ryan Leslie said yesterday that Gaudreau wanted to stay and his family wanted him to stay. Nothing is fan fiction and you using this thread to make it about that or go look at me is sick and disgusting. Maybe you need a time out or a morality check. Be better. Making bait posts in this thread is not acceptable

Dude, it's just a little... I don't know... To make an emotional post and throw in that tidbit of information. It comes across as totally unnecessary for a couple reasons. I glossed over it and I think others should but it was weird to throw in

It is insignificant though, why would that be the focus of my post? The whole post was about how much I loved Johnny, how angry I was at him leaving, and why I was wrong for feeling that way and some posters decided trying to use one tidbit in something I wrote to deal with my grief to try and bait me in this thread of all threads. That is not acceptable at all.

I really feel for their families, the rest of their lives have been permanently altered.

Not jerk, murderer.
Agree with post but jerks cut the line at the movie theater.

I was sad before but this photo makes me sadder. What a beautiful family, one child who will never know his dad and one whose memories will grow dimmer and dimmer over time. All because some moron decided to drive drunk and killed innocent people.

You'd think this tragedy would've made people let go of the frustrations with how Johnny left Calgary. But I guess not

Guys just all relax. Telling people to shut up and stuff is the equivalent of a company distribution list email accidentally sent out and everyone replaying all saying, "stop replying all".
People are affected by this untimely situation in different ways. If some want to bring up why he signed in Columbus, so be it. If some want to argue, so be it. Telling people to shut up on a message board is a bit excessive.

I haven't posted on this yet because I just don't have the words, but I don't think I ever will to be honest.
What incredibly needless and devastating tragedy. I've never been so heartbroken over the passing of someone I didn't personally know. Initially I was just in a state of shock, it didn't feel real. But after seeing all the posts by fans and former teammates, highlights, old videos, and fond memories shared by everyone it's just shifted to total grief. I've been having a good cry every time I see a clip of skittles and purple Gatorade on the steps of the dome.
I can't imagine the pain the Gaudreau family is going through. My heart goes out to them on what should have been a special weekend. One of the many things that make this so tough is how important family was to him, as he grew as a player and person in Calgary it was made so apparent how important his family circle was. I hope they know the city will always be thinking of them and they'll forever be loved by us Flames fans.
RIP Johnny & Matthew.

I think a wise man once said:
You know what would lower the sensitive flower reactions to zero? Not posting on the internet in emotional conditions - i.e. any forum, ever.
