Just because it is posted on Twitter, doesn’t mean it should be shared here.

It's all over the internet. Apparently the realtor that sold JG his house has a promotional photo of him shaking hands with Johnny and saying; "Just close the sale on [address]". It's the same address on that notepad photo of the incident details.
If this is a hoax, the person did their homework to get specific details right.

I remember his first radio interview after being drafted (had to be the first with any nhl associated media) and thinking that this kid sounds like a Jr high kid, but he was pretty well mannered and seemed so gracious to be drafted by this team across the continent. There was something about him. Lo and behold became the teams biggest star of the decade a couple short years later.

Yeah but we can be better here. Just because others are doing it doesn’t mean we have to accept that in our place.

Just because it's on Twitter doesn't make it not doxxing.
Internet sleauthing isn't going to confirm anything. Just wait for a statement from someone credible.

Nothing like plastering a potentially grieving family’s address all over the internet.

My favourite Gaudreau goal of all time (which someone else already posted), was when he went BUNK in game 3 vs Anaheim in the dying seconds to give us some hope in the series. That’s the loudest I’ve ever heard the dome.
Then someone threw nachos on the ice, they put on “turn down for what” and showed him on the bench for like 30 seconds, and it got even louder. Like I was honestly afraid for everyone’s safety given the state of the saddledome, it was incredible.
Also remember going to see shiny new toy Sean Monahan at development camp the year he was drafted, and Gaudreau absolutely stole the show. Everyone was like who the hell is this kid? I’d never seen a hockey player move laterally so quickly and smoothly.
So many great Gaudreau moments over the years.

My heart absolutely sunk. I can’t believe this. Thinking of all the Flame fans, CBJ fans, all hockey fans and the Gaudreau family
This is tragic. It’s not confirmed yet so I’m hoping it’s a sick joke but it’s not looking good.
What’s incredibly sad is that he and his brother were groomsmen for his sisters wedding tomorrow in Philadelphia.

That year he played in the WJC I had kind of checked out of the Flames for a while, but I watched that tournament. He looked incredible. After about 2-3 games I looked him up on the internet and saw the Flames had him and was so excited.

I remember tuning into Boston Colllege eagles games like they were the Flames.
No college player has ever had me so invested in seeing every minute of their developmental season.
Culminated in his first game and goal against the Canucks. Absolutely no one cared about the result. We were all there to watch the kid.

There's a ton of "internet sleuthing" going on in this thread so lets hold everyone accountable in that case. Point was people don't need to be jumping down that posters throat. Everyone is going to react differently to this news. Someone posting a piece of information that is all over twitter does not give people the right to call a person slime.

Wow. Hope it’s not true. You’d think there would be a news source by now.

This is heartbreaking. A wedding marred by the death of the brides two brothers. A grieving father, mother, wife, son and daughter. My heart goes out to the entire family. Gone far too soon. Terrible. Just terrible.

I last second on a whim got tickets for that game, that moment and game is burned into my memory. Best live NHL moment I've experienced. Really hoping this isn't true, sickening feeling right now.

I'm going to bed with a heavy heart for the Gaudreau family or whoever else's family may have been involved. If it was Johnny and his bro...RIP Johnny and Matthew Hockey
