I seriously hope that this is all a dumb hoax and Johnny’s fine, but I second this if it is true. He’s the first player that I, in my years as a hockey fan, really followed and was seriously invested in his development from the moment he was drafted. I don’t know exactly why I chose to be so invested in him over all the other prospects we’ve had in the past, but he immediately became my favourite player. And he still is, even with how he left and how he hasn’t been the same player in Columbus.

Hoping for good news to come out but the silence and lack of anyone coming out to debunk it is very concerning to me. I’ll honestly be heart broken if he’s gone this young…
