I am officially old, Talking to BOT makes my blood boil. Been on a chatbot for hours trying to authenticate myself. Even the bots say they are not bots. Its a Black Mirror Episode.

I feel really bad for anyone in any customer-facing service or support role on the phone.
No. You shouldn't yell at them, its not their fault and they cant do anything about it and customers should be understand and cognizant of that fact but at the same time?
Treat people like animals and they'll act like animals. There is a certain point you can push people to and no farther.
Its becoming beyond ridiculous.

Getting around bots is easy. You either type or say "speak to agent" or "speak to human".

They're all getting better at eliminating this. I was with RBC and they've got it locked down if you need to speak to someone now. Almost any direction you try to go they eventually get you to "If you need help doing this go to RBC.com and click on this....goodbye".
