Again? This won't last, it's just another phase. I saw them in Van last tour and it was awesome too. I've actually gotten more into them lately then ever before and have been going back through their old stuff a lot.
Time to make "Talk Tonight" part 2?
WOW id like to see what CP'ers listen to to call oasis irrelevant. Oasis B-Sides are 20 X better then anything I even hear on the radio today. Their arrogance no doubt loses them a lot of fans, but if you take off the blinders you would see that this band is something special that only comes around once a lifetime. I don't think I'll ever see another oasis.
Besides the point, I think they will be back together in 5-7 years after noel and liam both have their solo records.
People on here who say they haven't even heard a song since champagne supernova or morning glory should really consider picking up Be Here Now or Heathen Chemistry on iTunes. Heathen Chemistry was the first oasis record I EVER heard.
Definitely my favorite band of all time and i'm so HAPPY i saw them live when they came to Alberta for BOTH shows. At Edmonton I had second row floor center. I have seen about 4 unbelievable concerts since then but none of them even came close to the energy and enthusiasm I felt on the floor at oasis EDMONTON. Honestly the Beatles could reunite in their prime and it still wouldn't be as good for me as oasis was.
Very sad day, but on the other hand we may get more music out of this breakup anyways, so CHEERS to that.

Liam and Noel Gallagher have confirmed Oasis will reunite for a series of live shows next year.
In a press release on Tuesday morning, they confirmed summer 2025 gigs in London, Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin.
In a statement, Oasis commented: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

This necro bump got me good lol. 5:30 in the morning and I'm sitting here wondering who the #### is getting caught up in Oasis drama in 2024.
For me it was quite different. I had read about the reunion earlier, then saw the "Noel quits" thread and thought "ALREADY?!?!?" lol. Not that I'd be surprised though.
Never cared one iota for Oasis, to put it mildly. Happy for their fans though.

I have respect for the musicianship of the duo, but I don't care for their grating personalities. I'm going to assume they needed some cash flow badly enough to tolerate one another for a tour and that's what we're looking at.
I'll only listen to them once in a blue moon but enjoyed them growing up.
According to Spotify I'm in the top .5% of Oasis listeners which confirms my longtime theory that I am North America's biggest Oasis fan. I understand why they're not everyone's cup of tea, but for some reason I love it right from Liam's mostly sh**ty voice to their hilariously bad attitudes and petty feuds. It's just all very rock and roll.
Their hits are great. Wonderwall gets shade from overplay, but it's a classic. As are Don't Look Back In Anger, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Supersonic, and Champagne Supernova. She's Electric, The Hindu Times, Lyla, Morning Glory, Some Might Say, Roll With It, Rock n' Roll Star, Stand By Me, all great.
But they have a great list of lesser known bangers that challenge their top hits as far as awesomeness goes. If you're looking to try out some Oasis that isn't on the radio I recommend:
Go Let it Out
D'You Know What I Mean?
Gas Panic!
Guess God Thinks I'm Abel
The Importance of Being Idle
F***in in The Bushes
Hung in a Bad Place
Fade In-Out
Columbia
Force of Nature
She Is Love
My Big Mouth
Don't Go Away
Little By Little
Let There Be Love
Bag It Up
Half The World Away
Turn Up The Sun
All Around The World
Big fan. Excited for the reunion. I'm sure it'll implode.

My dad was a huge fan. Took me to see them for one of my first concerts. It’d be neat to see them again and tie in a longer trip to Dublin or something, but I’m sure tickets will be outrageous.
