Halfway through, and Harris is doing well so far. Not at the same orator level as the Obamas or Bill Clinton. But she’s coming across as genuine, contrasting herself favourably with Trump, and hitting the right talking points.

Uge mistake by the Republicans to coronate Trump.
They could have returned to power with a normal candidate.

Harris staking her candidacy on getting a ceasefire, but making clear that she's 100% on the side of Israel.

She looks like she's got a grasp on a range of issues, a thoughtful intention of how to address them, can string together a decently coherent and inspiring sentence and isn't limited to the nonsensical ramblings of an Adderall-fueled rage and vengeance machine. I guess it's a pretty tough call, this election.

I'm less interested now probabky. She is campaigning as if she/they were not the ones running the show the last 4 years. I get it I guess, but it's a strange way to brand things.

I haven't seen the entire speech but I really like what I hear.
Think she called the Israel/Hamas situation pretty accurately. Restore women's rights. Tough on the border.
You would think all Americans would agree with these things but I'm sure Trump, Fox and the cult will find something to criticize.

Her delivery when she's trying to express strength and confidence is excellent. Clearly well coached. She looks and sounds presidential. It's when she slips into the soft talking, pleading, wavering tone that I guess is her natural cadence that it doesn't present well.
Glad she cut it short. That was all that was needed.

Did you miss a hostile house and an almost hostile senate? Not you, Eldrick, but people really do need to get a grasp on how policy-making and legislation works. For goodness sakes, the issue the Republicans want to run on hardest which is an insecure border had Bi-partisan legislation written that would have provided historic strengthening of the border and their petulant man-child nominee used his cult of personality to kill it so he could use it as a wedge issue.
Four years in charge? Kill the obvious troll in the equation and let the adults in the room have four years. I bet some pretty good things happen.

The obvious issue with that theory is that the four years before the troll took over were the four most intractable, stifling, obstructive years they've ever managed to string together.

Why was her speech not a 90 minute long rambling greivance fest?

Kamala Harris.
Everyone was expecting Joe Biden to barge in and take back the nomination, obviously.
