Hughes Brothers Selected as Cover Atheletes for EA NHL 2025

For NHL 25, brothers Quinn, Jack and Luke Hughes will be the first siblings to grace an EA SPORTS cover together, with their play on the ice personifying NHL 25’s significant evolution in gameplay intelligence.

I know it would never happen, and this probably belongs in trade speculation, but what do you think the Devils would pay to get Quinn?

Jack actually seems to have some personally. He's a pretty decent face for the NHL. A lot better than McDavid.

Along the lines of what I was thinking, but wondered if Vancouver would do Nemec and a few 1sts. Turn around and spend one or both on additional needs. Can't recall if NJD still has their 27 & 28 1sts?

is there any anticipation or excitement going into this years edition? I haven't played an NHL game since like '20, but I recall people not being thrilled with NHL 24, which I guess could also be said about any NHL game dating back to the last 10 years or so.

The games are a lot like elections. You hope they follow through on their promises, even if it takes a bit after the election to come to fruition.

Smarter CPU, skating improvements, the usual coast of paint or touch ups.

Also we mock roster updates, but trying to keep older versions up to date is a colossal pain in the ass.

Edit - But to play the game, I think the acquisition cost just does not make it worth it. You're asking for a guy who just won the Norris, is the team captain, can be argued as the second best defense man in the league assuming we all agree Cale is the undisputed #1, and is currently on an unreal contract.

It would end up being the Lindros to Philly deal where the amount of assets being sent back is asinine.

Yeah, that's why the Devils should just be patient and just let Jack continue to get into Quinn's ear about going down to NJ to finally be closer to family and friends and be able to play with him and Luke, and sign him to a healthy contract when he becomes a free agent in 3 years...
