Allegations and known facts are two different things.
Seems like you're throwing around the R word to get attention and throw shade on what was otherwise an excellent night 3 of the convention.
I'll say it for the... 4th time? So it gets through to you. I DON'T THINK HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN INVITED TO SPEAK. You happy?

Mostly true, but the Dems would have been much better served by leaving a few speakers off the card tonight

The words rubecube and happy don't seem to go together in any reasonable way.

Yes, because powerful white dudes in America always notoriously face justice, especially for sexual assault. Also, again, why are you using Trump to justify Clinton's presence? It's bad to have him there because he's a bad person. Trump being worse, doesn't excuse that.
Are Michael Jackson, O.J., and Bill Cosby all innocent in your eyes because they weren't convicted or had their convictions tossed?
Innocent until proven guilty is for the courts to decide. It's perfectly reasonable for members of the public to think "10+ allegations might not just be coincidence."

Talking to my dad tonight with some friends…
Ranting about how much he hates Trump, then says “see, I’m a republican, I want to see…(starts counting on his fingers)..free market, I want to see no electric cars, I want to see more oil and gas.
“Umm how is that free market?”

I'm not really going at you at this point. I think your response has generally been in line with what I'm saying.
Bill Clinton is an odious sex pest who should not be welcome at these events should not be a controversial position to take.

That's a miscommunication on my part. I was more referring to the DNC itself, staffers, etc. Agreed that the general public didn't really know about this stuff at the time, but there were people on the inside who were aware and just chose to look the other way.

It's not as stated, but I would understand that to mean against mandates like Canada's 60% by 2030 and 100% 'zero emissions' by 2035. So obviously this is not a free market.

To be fair, the O&G industry and car manufacturers have been using their muscle to manipulate the free market and keep EVs off of it for years. So this feels more like course correction.

Yeah could be. I have no idea but will believe you.
Here in America, EVs are for the wealthy only. Infrastructure is so far behind that only those with a garage can realistically drive one. The 3rd closest charging station from my home in NW Chicagoland is 23 minutes away, if no traffic. It's not feasible to drive an EV here without charging at home.
Now all of this may just be further to your statement. I'll buy that too. Just saying

Donald Trump: ‘I Hate My Opponent’
Quote:
DONALD TRUMP HAS NO PLANS TO HEED the advice of his aides and limit himself to policy contrasts when he debates Kamala Harris. He wants to make it personal.
“This is just the way I am. I hate my opponent. I hate my opponents,” Trump told a confidant who advised the former president to consider backing away from calling the vice president “stupid” or “dumb” at their high-profile standoff in a few weeks, which he has done repeatedly.
Trump explained to the confidant that he’s treating Harris the same way he did Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton. “Hillary, Joe, Kamala. It doesn’t matter. I just hate them.”
To another adviser, Trump was blunt about taking on Harris: “I’m going to be mean.”
|
Quote:
“If Harris is an idiot and she holds her own, then you could have two idiots on stage,” a Trump insider fretted. “Call her ideas stupid. Don’t call her stupid.”
Marc Short, a former top Trump administration official who prepared Vice President Mike Pence for his 2020 debate against Harris, said Pence made sure to not make it personal.
“You can’t get around the fact that having a white male debate a minority female creates a different dynamic,” said Short. “And you’re always sensitive to the media saying you’re ‘mansplaining’ if you get into a conversation in which you appear to try to put down your opponent. That’s always delicate. Trump doesn’t do delicate well.”
