Do locked threads ever get unlocked? Is it possible that they just want a cool down period and will unlock in a day or so?

Have you tried asking the mod who locked it? You could also post in the WGMG thread, there's a support group discussing the same topic coincidentally.

Went on a blade yesterday evening, there's a small bridge on my route where the metal planks on it make rollerblades / skateboards produce an obnoxiously loud noise when you go over it.

When I went over it yesterday, on the other side of the bridge was a middle aged, totally biker-looking dude (Harley Davidson leather vest, leather pants, and a bandana on his head), sans steel stallion. He was glaring at me as I went by, I could tell the sound was driving him nuts.

...knowing my method of transport was producing a sound loud enough to annoy a biker dude was so satisfying lol...payback's a #####. Almost posted this in the WRMMH thread.

Where to by scrap metal...

I need about 5 feet of 2" pipe for a small project. Air feed for a home made Forge.

Would rather use scrap than buy new from Metal Supermarket.

Anyone in a fab shop that can source me some ?

How handy are you with a Sawzall?

There is a truck with some pretty big exhaust pipes that could be re-purposed....

Just sayin'...

Locke is on the right track, 2" is kinda common for vehicle exhaust. Maybe check some auto shops for their scrap pile.

Also, if it's the air feed maybe you could do the majority of it with PVC or ABS or something? The stuff they use for HE furnaces and HW heater exhaust might work for everything up to the connection.

Took me a WHILE to figure out this meant you were rollerblading (I know it's there later in the paragraph but I missed it)

I just naturally assume that there is a Neon Green fanny-pack involved somewhere.

To dog owners. We were dog sitting recently.

This dog was constantly scratching herself. Is there a food supplement or shampoo that would ease this dog’s suffering?

We started giving our dog fish oil capsules in his dinner for that reason. Helped a ton.

May also be a food allergy. We had a Pyrenees that had pretty bad reactions to poultry which is in most dog food, even if it’s labeled as “beef”.

I pay about a billion dollars a year for Apoquel to relieve my dogs itching. It works like a charm, but it’s gold plated stuff, and the patent doesn’t run out till November 2025.

And a bit higher quality food helps as well. Also, some brands have a sensitive skin formulation that we found also helped.

We are feeding our current dog this brand and it seems good so far:

We also avoid the chicken.

It could be due to the house cleaning products you use.

This happens too, we had a problem with this with our cat about 10 years ago. Switched floor cleaning solutions and problem solved.

I seem to recall Swiffer had some issue with their spray mop solution and pets walking on the clean floor then licking their paws. Would think that’s been resolved by now, but we stopped using it and never went back. Just safer to never clean the floor.

Swiffer almost took down our previous cat, it's no joke! Luckily we figured it out early and she got another 4 years but that was an expensive lesson.

The dog does the same thing in our house and theirs.

Yup, you're absolutely right. Cats have very sensitive under-bellies and your floor cleaning products may not be something most people think about, but your pets lounge about on the floor a lot.
