Yup, Barack made such a point to say listen to the other side and be kind. Opposite of the basket of deplorable s. Attack trump, not the supporters.

The ‘Spark’ Is Gone: Ex-GOP Congressman Hits Trump With Stark Election Warning

Quote:
Former Rep. David Jolly (R-Fla.) said that as things stand right now, Donald Trump will lose the election as voters grow tired of his act and more enthusiastic about Vice President Kamala Harris.
Quote:
“He’s more like the aging rock star whose fans have kind of faded away, so it’s more like a reunion tour for him,” Jolly ― a longtime Trump critic ― said on MSNBC on Sunday. “It just doesn’t quite have the spark it had in 2016, and the lack of enthusiasm is there as well and he’s not helping himself.”
Quote:
Jolly said Trump’s team has been trying to “throw the kitchen sink” at Harris with a wide range of attacks, but so far, “nothing’s sticking.” He said Harris seems to have the popular vote locked up, and the Electoral College vote is moving in her direction as well.

“Vice President Harris is in position to win this race,” he said, adding that persuadable voters are also turning toward her.

“The reality is, most persuadables are more substantive and less reflexive in their partisan loyalty, and those are the voters that are looking at Vice President Harris saying, ‘I like the direction she’s willing to take this country,’” he said.

I just can't see how someone could listen to what Obama said and think "Nope. Not for me."

Like okay, I guess you don't like happiness?

We need to pay Obama $25mil a year and tell him to come to Canada and run for PM.

Umm, so we'd pay him $25mil a year and he wouldn't be eligible. Great strategy.

It wouldn't be too hard for him to be become eligible. You don't need to be born in Canada, you just need to be a citizen. Canada has the ability to expedite citizenship to be if they are believed to bring some kind of important value. Aside from that, he would need to become a party leader and elected.

I'm not saying it's a good idea and I doubt he would want the job. Just from a technical stand point, it would be possible.

Michelle and Barack are at a whole other level compared to everyone else when it comes to delivering a speech to a crowd. Barack really took it to Donald last night, which was awesome lol.

Just me, but the whole "they're weird" campaign thing by the Democrats just feels cheesy to me.

Another highlight for me last night was Bernie calling out both parties, including the Democrats at their own damn convention lol. Feel the Bern, baby.

It worked when Walz first pointed at it because it came across as genuine. Now it feels a bit forced and stale, what with everyone saying it. But it still seems to be eliciting the desired reaction; I mean, they keep getting weirder, with the JD Vance semen donor cup thing being the most egregious example.

It's kind of inverted the "pwn the libs" thing from 2016, now it's "pwn the MAGAs".

They're still really weird, so why wouldn't they keep saying it?

Bernie was just so out of place last night. That generation, just...time to step back.

And throughout the night, the constant attack on the rich and earned wealth and generational wealth, that's a dangerous point to keep hammering on. Is all wealth unfair?

Yeah, Democrats will keep running it as long the Republicans keep spiralling into the meme. The harder they try to prove they aren't weird, the more weird they are coming across.
