Favorites are Weegar and Zary. Weegs is one of the most underrated D-men in the league, and I'm so glad to see Zary doing well. Excited to see what he can do this year.
Least favorite is Kuzmenko.

To everyone who dislikes Huska, I have to disagree. Despite being on the losing side most nights, I thought the team played well and employed a solid system. I think Huska is good at utilizing players the right way, and was really good with the youngsters. As somebody who was a Huska detractor at the start of the year, I was pleasantly surprised. Give him a worthwhile roster, and he'll do very well.
For at least the first half of last season, I thought we were in every game- even when the score was lopsided.

It's hard to pick a favourite, but I am going with Shaggy. I feel like the interviews gvitaly was kind enough to translate for us this summer, really made me appreciate the person behind the player. I also like that he signed on for a few more years. It was hard to not pick Weegar or Coleman for me though.
As far as least favourite, it has to be Huberdeau just based on how disappointing his production to cap hit has been. Not just production, but lackluster play. He seems like a good guy, so nothing personal.

Yeah, I don't like or dislike Huska, but I think he's gone by the time the Flames are through with this stage in their history. I think the difference between coaches is generally overrated.

I agree! It also illustrates how many likable players are on the roster. Even though this is the beginning of a rebuild, there are so many good pieces here, both young and veteran.

I have to respectfully disagree. Having a good coach is akin to appointing the right General to lead your army. The coach sets the gameplan, chooses the nightly roster, and doles out the ice time. They are in charge of all the details, as well as motivation vs. discipline. There's a big reason why coaches (at least the better ones) are getting paid like players- you can assemble the best team in the league on paper, but they won't get anywhere without the right coach. The 2004 Flames would not have made it far without the right coach in Darryl Sutter.

Favourite: kuzmenko.
Least: kadri however I do like him as a flame. Just won’t ever forget the gio hit on him and how he acted when he was a Leaf. I was at that game and thought it was a clean hit and thought it was pretty tasteless.
Like other posters though, I like all of them who wear the flaming c. Will never cheer against any of them. Go flames go.

Technically they can be your least favorite player on the Flames and still in your top 30 favorite active NHLers.

Faves - Zary and Lomberg, both bring energy and excitement in very different ways.
Bums - Huberdeau
