I sent an email a while ago to the Flames asking if they'd offer any discounts on a jersey re-lettering for a Dube jersey I own that I'm obviously not going to be able to wear again. I wasn't asking for it for free, just figured they could provide some discount where I'm sure they'd still be making some margin on. They never responded which kind of miffed me.

No kidding, would the flames even want people showing up to the dome in a Dube jersey? I’m not saying you would but what a ####ty look that would be if someone was unaware of this whole story.
Morbid curiosity had me look on Kijiji for a signed flames Dube jersey to see the price and I found something much worse. A 2018 WJC signed Dube jersey for $35. Probably better off burning that jersey.

Hard to see jail time coming from this. Assuming there was no plea deal?
Why? I obviously don't know how strong the case is, but assuming they're convicted this is pretty egregious behaviour. If they confined a woman, gang raped her, filmed the incident, and then bragged about it to their teammates and distributed the photos, you could end up with a pretty serious sentence for that. If I'm a judge, I'm looking at that scenario and thinking maybe it wasn't just a one off either.
