Remember the out door rink? You and a bunch of other 10 year olds have a good game going all of a sudden two teenage dinks, probably AAA players, come and start playing and absolutely dominate the game. Slappers, crosschecks, etc. to just wreck the game and show they are the bestest ever.

A thread about annoying posters. A bunch of kids (at heart) are just having fun. Guess who the two dinks are that show up to wreck everyone's fun and show who really are the true winners of the thread.

Seems pretty apropos to me.

Don't close the thread and punish everybody. We have a penalty box, the mods are the dads that come to the rink and see what is happening. The dinks have to sit in the sin bin. (am I overexplaining or working out somethng from my youth?)

Calipanthers fan is also a super annoying poster and probably even more annoying in real life. Seeing his tears would have been a sweet consolation prize if the oilers had won the cup

I actually wonder if him and pepsifreeze and waliepeanuts would be bffs if they actually knew each other. This forum is probably the closest any of them get to real life friends.

It's a shame that only one of the top three worst posters are in the poll

Ahem - it's most annoying poster, not worst poster.

For example, I've driven people up the wall many a times, but at the end of the day I've been told that my posts in FOI are spot on and even people I irritate will often agree with my insights. So most annoying =/= worst in many instances.

Certainly not all instances, though..

The bulk of his posting is fine. I don't know why you'd be annoyed by him.

I don’t know if I agree with locking it yet, it’s definitely gotten more aggressive than I had hoped (unsurprisingly). It could still be fun if those going over the top had to sit out for a day or 2.

I mean hell, it would be cruel to close the thread on Scorps sweet 16th bday!

It really chaps my balls that my personally-favoured most annoying poster probably won't make it out of round 1 because Pepsi is a living furby, and so I also agree that this should be shut down!!!!

Yeah, but we haven't even gotten past the first round, just imagine how over the top it'll be when we get to the SFs. Disqualifying posters who are politicking too much might be a good solution though (and then of course doing a side bracket with the disqualified).
